IS ZIPPY GRID? |
ZIPPY
GRID is a field applied
grid system created to simulate true-divided steel sash windows, using
modern materials at an affordable price. |

ZIPPY
GRID is made of high
quality extruded aluminum. The ZIPPY GRID system is comprised
of two (2) shapes Perimeter Grid and Intermediate Grid. The PERIMETER
GRID is designed to cover the seal around any typ. storefront.
The INTERMEDIATE GRID forms the pre-designed grid pattern.
INTERMEDIATE GRID is available in four (4) shapes; ORIGINAL, TRADITIONAL, IL PRESIDENTE and GENERALISIMO. In addition three (3) other specialized profiles are available; TRADITIONAL, MR. T BAR and FLAT BAR. To see details of these shapes in PDF format click here. |

a Commercial Clear Metal (Mill) Finish; Commercial Clear Anodized Finish;
Standard White, Bronze, Brown, or Black Painted Finish; and ZIPPY
GRID can be painted to match any existing or standard storefront
system, with a paint sample provided by customer. Call for details. |
| HOW
IS ZIPPY GRID PRICED? |
The ZIPPY GRID system has two (2) components: Extruded Aluminum
and Adhesion Materials. The Extruded Aluminum Shapes (PERIMETER and
INTERMEDIATE GRID) are priced by the Linear Foot. The Adhesion
Materials are 36 yd/108 ft Rolls of 1", 3/4" or 1/2" tape priced
per Roll. 4 OZ of Silane Coupling Agent (used to prep window surface)
is available for $10 per 4 OZ. (4 OZ.Concentrate makes 5 GAL.

HOW
IS ZIPPY
GRID
INSTALLED? |
ZIPPY
GRID is fabricated
on site. ZIPPY GRID can be easily cut using a miter saw
with a blade for cutting metal. Using the heavy duty tape (developed
by 3M) adhere the pieces directly to glass surfaces. Work is done
in the field by workers with basic finish carpentry skills. For
